A Tuscan wedding on film

Tuscan weddings are often long and unhurried: a ceremony in a garden or a stone chapel, aperitivo among the cypresses, one long table under the lights. That pace suits documentary filming. There is time to catch the small moments between the big ones.

Light and timing

Summer afternoons in Tuscany are hot and bright. Ceremonies in the late afternoon and portraits in the hour before sunset, when the hills turn gold, give the softest light on film. In June and July the sun sets close to 9 pm, so dinner usually starts in daylight and the first dance happens after dark.

Wedding weekends

Many couples take over a borgo or villa for two or three days, with a welcome dinner before the wedding and a pool party or lunch the day after. The Wedding Weekend covers all three: pre-wedding evening, wedding day and day-after party.

Venues

Couples marrying in Tuscany often choose venues such as Borgo Pignano, Villa Cetinale, Castello di Vincigliata, Il Borro, Borgo Stomennano, Villa La Foce. I'm happy to film at any venue in the region; each new venue is planned in detail with your planner and venue team before the day.

Investment

Wedding films in Tuscany start from €4,000 including VAT for up to 12 hours, with a teaser film and a wedding film. Travel to Italy is included. See all packages or what a wedding videographer costs in Italy.
