Lake Como wedding videographer

Wedding films on Lake Como for couples marrying at its villas and hotels, from Cernobbio and Tremezzo to Bellagio and Varenna. Every wedding becomes a teaser film and a wedding film, filmed as it happens.

A Lake Como wedding on film

Most Lake Como weddings move between the water and the villa: getting ready at the hotel, a boat across the lake to the ceremony, dinner on a terrace as the light drops behind the mountains. I plan filming around those moves, so the boat ride, the arrival and the view become part of the story.

Light and timing

From May to September the lake is at its softest in the hour before sunset, when the terraces fall into shade and the water turns silver. A late-afternoon ceremony leaves time for a few quiet minutes together by the water before dinner.

Practical notes

Boats, water taxis and ferry timetables shape the day, so I build the filming plan with your planner. Many villas have their own rules on music, drones and finishing times; aerial shots are planned only where the venue and Italian rules allow.

Drones on the lake

In Italy drones are regulated by ENAC under the EU drone rules, and many villas and lakeside towns restrict or ban flights. I check the rules for your venue weeks in advance and ask for the villa's permission, so aerial shots are confirmed before the day rather than improvised on it.

Venues

Couples marrying in Lake Como often choose venues such as Villa del Balbianello, Villa Erba, Villa d'Este, Grand Hotel Tremezzo, Villa Pizzo, Villa Sola Cabiati, Villa Monastero. I'm happy to film at any venue in the region; each new venue is planned in detail with your planner and venue team before the day.

Investment

Wedding films in Lake Como start from €4,000 including VAT for up to 12 hours, with a teaser film and a wedding film. Travel to Italy is included. See all packages or what a wedding videographer costs in Italy.

Questions

Do you film weddings on Lake Como?

Yes. I travel to Lake Como for weddings at villas and hotels around the lake, including Cernobbio, Tremezzo, Bellagio and Varenna, and work alongside your planner and venue.

Can you film the boat transfer?

Yes. The boat ride is often one of the most beautiful parts of a Lake Como day, and I film from the boat or from the shore depending on the plan.

How much are your wedding films?

Wedding films by Lens Square Films start from €4,000 for up to 12 hours of filming on one wedding day in Italy or elsewhere in Europe, including a teaser film and a wedding film. With a 3-hour pre-wedding evening or shoot it is €5,500, and a three-day weekend (pre-wedding, wedding day, day-after party) with two cinematographers and a multi-angle ceremony film is €7,200. Prices include VAT and travel to Italy, and a 30% deposit secures the date. What a wedding videographer costs in Italy
